LIGHTER SIDE

as i was asking the hospice RN if she thought thomas was in a declining state, she acknowledged that he is, thomas (who has been unable to speak hardly at all) raised his hands up and said firmly----"MAYBE". he has a tenacity for life that is remarkably god-given.

he is now not eating and drinking and is mostly sleeping.

i am in awe of the birth and death events of life.

  1. Tom and Patty,
We are praying for you both and your family. Sorry I haven't responded sooner. Just found out how to do it.
We remember fondly about the two of you even before you were dating. God sure does know how to pick our mates. You two are perfect for each other.

  2. Tom and Patty, you are in my prayers, what a journey you two have had, I know Nate through the praise team, Tia through the Moore family, but you two show a strength that I am sure you wished you never had to discover within yourselves, and seen God's love through it all, which you may have never truely experienced unless you went through this journey. I pray Tom's final days are painfree, but he is alert to see and feel all his family friends around him.

  3. Tom, Patty, Tia and Nathan... These comments are very difficult to read... I can't believe this "thing" is taking 2 loved ones in the same year. I have had a hard time and am most overwhelmed, but I continue to pray and am Blessed by your Faith and hold on Jesus through this. I love you all.

  4. Patty,
I came out tp the library today to let you know how much you are all loved and missed. Every morning Duchess and I walk past your house, and she still looks for you. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I am very glad that both Tia and Nathan are with you. Know that you can always call me. If I get a chance and things are not hectic there I will try to stop to say hi. You are loved and missed so very much.
